Community Server 2.1 SP2 - Web Installer & Upgrade

For ASP.NET 2.0 sites.

This zip file contains all the files needed to deploy Community Server 2.1 SP2 on ASP.NET 2.0, including a web-based installer for new sites.

If you are upgrading from Community Server 1.x or 2.0, you must use this download and follow the instructions in the included ReadMe file. It will explain how to upgrade your database using the included upgrade SQL scripts.
If you are deploying a new CS site using shared hosting, or any other scenario where you cannot run an executable installer program on your server, download this file and use the web-based installer.
There is a Windows Installer (MSI) for Community Server 2.1 that you may want to use to setup a new CS site on your server if you have the capability to run an executable on it.

Community Server 2.1 SP2 - Software Development Kit
(Build # 2.1.61129.2)

This zip file contains the source code of the core Community Server 2.1 SP2 components. The SDK package is provided to customize, extend, and build on the Community Server platform. Solutions and project files are included for Visual Studio 2003 (.NET 1.1) and Visual Studio 2005 (.NET 2.0).

It does not contain a ready-to-deploy package to upload to your web server. If you just want to install Community Server on your web server, download the web installer and upgrade package, or the windows installer package.

Community Server 2.1 Service Pack 2 update

Community Server 2.1 Service Pack 2 update
(Build # 2.1.61129.1)

This zip file contains only the web-deployable files that have changed in Service Pack 1 and 2, for upgrading existing CS 2.1 web sites. It is a cumulative update that includes both the SP1 and SP2 changes.

It does not contain a ready-to-deploy package to upload to your web server. If you would like to install Community Server on your web server, download the web installer and upgrade package, or the windows installer package. They have been updated to include the SP2 fixes.

This update includes:

A Read Me file with more detailed instructions on how to update your CS 2.1 site.
A list of improvements and bug fixes added in both SP 1 and SP2.
A web folder that contains web deployable files that have changed from CS 2.1 RTM to SP2. The files are already in the correct directory structure so you can drop them over top of your existing site.
Binaries (.dll files) for both ASP.NET 1.1 and ASP.NET 2.0. Copy the binary files for the appropriate version into your /bin directory over top of the existing ones.
A SQL Script file that will update your database to CS 2.1 SP2. Execute this file against your Community Server database.

Här är en ZIP-fil med svenska språkfiler för CS 2.1 så långt jag hunnit hittils. Jag har kallat detta för version 0.7, och kommer förmodligen att posta uppdateringar fram till dess att allt är översatt.

AspNet.FreeTextBox.WithCodeEditorButton 2.0

This is the FreeTextBox wrapper for the http://forums.asp.net website.

Installing it will give the "Rich Editor (with code support)" option in your User Profile with the C#/Insert Code button on the toolbar.

This has been tested for CS 2.0.

Please note one item not in the readme. To specify this editor as your site default editor, set the textEditorType in the communityserver.config file to:

Svensk språkpaket för CS 2.0 (ej helt färdigt)

Detta är det svenska språkpaketet för CS 2.0. Det är ännu ej helt klart, men har fått förfrågningar att posta detta så länge ändå. Jag kommer att uppdatera med det helt klara paketet så fort jag hinner.

OBS! Om ni kör en befintlig Community Server idag, med registrerade användare, kommer det bli problem så länge svenska katalogen under Languages heter bara sv. För att det ska fungera behöver du lägga dessa filer i en katalog som heter sv-SE. Men ta inte bort den gamla sv katalogen på en gång, först måste du styra om alla användare som har sv inställt i sin profil till sv-SE stället.
